JOY: A Study of Philippians

DATES: January 20th to February 10th
COST: Free if you already own the book and do not need the church to purchase one for you; if you are in need of a copy of the book, the cost will be $10 (Women's Ministry will cover the remaining cost of the book if registered by Thursday, January 15th.)

All women are invited to our Bible study on Philippians! 

Morning Star member Jennifer Mueller will again be leading us through the Bible study "Joy: A Study of Philippians". This study will take place on four consecutive Tuesdays, beginning January 20th from 7-8:30pm. Come as you are (messy bun, sweatpants, slippers, you name it!) and get comfortable as we discuss the real joy, genuine joy, which is always ours in the saving grace of Christ Jesus. This close look at Paul's Letter to the Philippians, the "letter of joy," unpacks messages of contentment, confidence, humility, and hope-all found in Christ and infused with joy-in the mountaintop moments and in the mundane.   

The book is divided into eight sessions. We focused on the first four sessions of the book this past fall and will be continuing with the last four sessions. Didn't join us in the fall? No worries! Come anyway and catch up on the first four on your own time whenever you can!  

In order to plan, we are asking ALL interested in participating sign up below, whether or not you need a book and mark the form accordingly. Women's Ministry will cover a portion of the cost of the books for anyone needing one who is signed up by Thursday, January 15th. Please bring $10 in cash or check (made payable to Morning Star) with you to the first week or drop it off with Jeanine in the main church office. If signing up after January 15th, you will be responsible for purchasing a copy of the book on your own.
