2025 Trunk-or-Treat

Grab your costumes and your candy buckets, it’s almost time for Trunk-or-Treat!

Join us on Friday, October 17th, starting at 5:30 PM in the Morning Star parking lot for a fang-tastic evening of trick-or-treating, creative (non-scary) costumes, and spooky-but-sweet fun. 

Here’s how you can help make this event GREAT!:

Host a trunk! Decorate your car or truck (nothing scary, please) and hand out treats. Trunk volunteers will need to bring their own candy to pass out, but we’ll have extra donated candy in case anyone’s supply disappears faster than Cinderella at midnight. Setup time for trunk volunteers will be from 4:30pm-5:15pm. We ask that you please sign up for trunk hosting no later than Sunday, October 12th for planning purposes. 

Donate candy! If decorating a trunk isn’t your style or you’d like to take your kiddos to the event, you can still help by donating a bag of candy to keep our candy cauldrons overflowing. All candy donations can be brought in ahead of time and left in the box in the church office or given to Jeanine.  

Can’t host yourself? You can still help by recruiting someone who can. Know a Morning Star Alum, a high schooler who needs service hours, a church member, or a grandparent who loves Halloween fun? The more trunks, the merrier!

It’s always a spook-tacular night and one of our favorite traditions, but it can’t happen without YOU! So dig out those decorations, start planning those costumes, and get ready for a frightfully fun evening.
