Amanda Harvey was born and raised in Beaver Dam, WI. She attended St. Stephen’s Lutheran School in Beaver Dam for K-8 instruction. She graduated high school from Luther Preparatory school in 2002 and received her Bachelor of Science from Martin Luther College in 2006. Her first call was to Lamb of God in West Allis Wi to teach Kindergarten. After serving for 4 years, she took a few years off to be home with her young children. She went back to the teaching ministry in 2017 where she served at Peace Lutheran School in Hartford, WI for the next 7 years. She began a new ministry in 2022 when she became the first grade teacher at Morning Star Lutheran School.
Mrs. Harvey is married to Adam who is also the Principal of Morning Star. They have three children Madelyn (15), Jordyn (14), and Vyncent (11). When Mrs Harvey is not teaching, you can usually find her coaching CrossFIt at a local gym. Amanda loves spending time with her family being active outside and camping whenever possible.
