Pastor Charles Raasch grew up in Milwaukee and attended Wisconsin Lutheran High School where his father served for many years as a teacher and coach.  He received his B.A. from Northwestern College in 1984 and his M.Div. degree from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 1988.  He completed his Masters of Sacred Theology degree in 1999 from the same Seminary.  He is presently pursuing doctoral studies in Biblical theology.

He began his ministry as a Parish Pastor at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Janesville, MN, and as a Campus Pastor at Mankato State University.  From 1992-2003, he served as the Dean of Students/Campus Pastor of Shoreland Lutheran High School in Somers, WI.   Pastor Raasch has served as Morning Star’s pastor since 2003.

Pastor Raasch enjoys family time with his children (especially losing to his girls in Monopoly), participating in sports (hockey is the latest venture), and attempting to plant the perfect garden.
