Our mission statement defines our existence as a congregation and as individuals. Our Lord Jesus commissioned us to “go and make disciples” (Matthew 28:19). Simply stated, we exist as God’s people to make disciples and strengthen disciples. Christ’s love compels us to grow stronger in the knowledge of Jesus our Savior, and commit our lives to glorify God. Christ’s love also compels us to share the Good News of Jesus with others, including those who are spiritually lost and confused. To carry out our mission, the Holy Spirit empowers us to proclaim the love of Jesus with his Word and sacraments.
